Switching power supply for 3 kW magnetron with internal controller
|
| The SM1150 unit is suitable to drive a 3 kW magnetron, like the NL10230 or similar, and its powerful capabilities were developed for high demanding markets, like the plasma applications market. The unit is controlled by a powerful microprocessor board, which allows setting and adjusting all the parameters (output current, control mode, etc). The control software can be updated by a standard PC throu the RS232 port. The unit is built in a self-ventilated 19" wide rack, 3HE high, with a front panel comprising the user interface and the main switch. The user interface is a 4 characters display, with an optical encoder which act as the adjustable device (similar to a potentiometer) and three panel push-buttons, all located on the front panel. The output power can be adjusted on a continuous scale by analog signal or from panel. The display provides status and set point information, alarm codes, as well as output power value. |
